The Australian Seniors
Masters Games will be
held between12th to
the 19th October, 2024
in Alice Springs. They
are are open to anyone
with a love of sports
who meets the age
criteria, which for
most sports is 30
years and above.
Tennis Seniors
Queensland is proud to
announce that it is
the recipient of yet
another ITF Tournament
Recognition Award,
achieving exemplary
player satisfaction
and tournament
delivery for the MT700
TSQ Championships on
the Gold Coast last
year. Congratulations
must especially go to
Gail Bates as the
Tournament organiser,
having also previously
received two such
awards for the TSQ
Clay Court
Championships at
Ipswich in 2022 and
2023.
The 2025 ITF Masters
World Championships
will take place across
four nations. Turkiye,
Portugal, USA and
Croatia will each host
selected age groups
for next year's
Championships.

Championships (MT700) will be
held at the Miami Courts over
June 27 to July 1. Entries are now
open and close on 18th
June.
The 2024
Cairns Seniors
Tournament will be
held at the Sheridan
Street Courts and Edge
Hile Tennis Club in
Cairns over
8-9 June. Entries are now
open and close on 3rd
June.
2025 Australian Championships -
Adelaide January 5 -17

held in Adelaide. The
Teams Carnival will
run from 5-10 January
while the Individual
Championships will run
from 12-17 January.

Tennis Queensland Award: Most Outstanding 30+ Master for 2023 -
Ross Orford

Congratulations to Ross Orford for winning the Tennis Queensland Most Outstanding 30+ Master Award at the recent 2023 Queensland Tennis Awards.
Following his retirement from coaching, Ross has had an outstanding 2023, having won 14 Championships this year alone (7 singles and 7 doubles). He is currently ranked No.4 in the world for singles, No.15 in the world for Men's doubles and No. 6 in the world for mixed doubles in the 70+ age category.
The 35th annual Masters Games will be held in Otepoti Dunedin, New Zealand from February 3-11.
Over nine days and nights, an estimated 5,000+ people from around New Zealand, Australia,
and the globe will come together to enjoy Aotearoa New Zealand's largest annual multi-sport event..
