now finalised the
draw for the Teams
Carnival and have updated
the
schedule of teams' practice
times on Sunday 7 January.

The Organising Committee of Q18 have issued an information note about a range of matters relating
to Q18 Teams Carnival. This includes a schedule of practice times for all teams on Sunday 7 January.
Queensland Teams selected for 2018
Australian Teams Carnival, Gold Coast

There will be 40 teams (22
men's and 18 women's team)
representing Queensland at
the Australian teams
Carnival to be played on the
Gold Coast from 7 - 12
January, 2018. Those teams
have now been announced.
The The annual general
meeting of TSQ will be held
at Qeensland Tennis Centre,
190 King Arthur Terrace,
Tennyson on Tues 5th
December, 2017 at 6:30 pm.
The Social program
has now been finalised for the Niagara Australian Seniors Q18 Carnival and Championships in January.
The Q18 Organising Committee would prefer that all bookings be made online.
The Australian Individual
Championships will be held from 14
- 19 January 2018 at the Gold
Coast following the previous
week's Teams Carnival. The fact
sheet for this event is now
available to download and on-line
entries will be available shortly.
Entries close on 01-Jan-2018.
The Organising Committee of Q18
advise that both the Opening
Ceremony on 7th January, and the
Carnival Dinner Dance on the 12th
January, will be held at the
iconic Gold Coast Sports and
Leisure Centre on Nerang
Broadbeach Road, Carrara.

Seniors Teams Carnival and
Championships – is very

Sponsorship. Chairman Reg
Trevaskis extended a very
appreciative vote of thanks to
BSTC President Nick Clarke and
his committee and members, who
voted overwhelmingly to
support Q18. There has always
been a close association
between BSTC and Tennis
Seniors Queensland, and it is
hoped that the support might
lead to more players in SE
Queensland joining BSTC and
participating in their local
competitions.
Murgon Seniors Tournament

The 2017 Murgon Seniors
Tournament will be held at the
Gore Street courts in Murgon
over the 21-22 October.
Entries are now open and will
close on 16 October.
Players who intend to play in
the 2018 Australian Teams
Carnival and Championships
(Q18) on the Gold Coast next
January may well be interested
in discounted airport
transfers with one of the
event's sponsors. Con-X-ion
have agreed to support Q18 by
way of providing discounted
airport transfers (10%) from
Brisbane or Coolangatta
airports to players
accommodation, either one-way
or return.
The 2017 Toowoomba &
District's Veterans Tournament
will be held from 30 September
to 2 October at the Toowoomba
Tennis Association's courts.
Entries are now open and will
close on 24-Sep-2017.
Queensland seniors are invited
to nominate for Queensland
Representative Teams at the
upcoming Australian Teams
Carnival to be held on the
Gold Coast in January, 2018.
Nominations close on 15
October, 2017.

Brisbane Seniors Tournament

The 2017 Brisbane Seniors
Tournament will be held at
Redlands (Cleveland) and
Wynnum tennis centres from the
18-20 August.
Entries are now open and close
on 7 August.
Tennis Seniors Queensland
wishes to notify those players
who might be interested that
yoga recovery sessions will be
available at the upcoming
State Championships on the
Gold Coast.

Tournament will be

Games, including

the Australian
Teams Carnival and
the Australian
Seniors Individual
Championships in
January in
Adelaide. In the
Teams Carnival,

finished a very
credible 3rd
overall.
