Swan Hill 2022 Australian
Seniors Championships Cancelled
(posted
November 25, 2021)
Discussions were held following receipt of a recommendation from TSV to cancel the carnival week
scheduled for Swan Hill in January 2022. Upon consideration of the circumstances TSA has decided both
weeks of the Australian Seniors Championships be cancelled for 2022 and that TSV reprogram the two weeks
for 2023.
The
Teams Carnival was
deemed unviable due to
the low number of teams
nominated, the reasons
for which stem from
Covid-19 and the
uncertainty around
travel arrangements
to/from the various
States. The same factors
also impact the
Individual Championships
but, as in 2021, TSA is
seeking interest from
the Divisions to hold
them later in 2022.
