Tennis Seniors Tournaments

Australian Tournament Calendar

A large number of Seniors tournaments are now played in Australia each year. Seniors tennis competitions are divided into five-year age groups starting at 30 years and tournaments comprise a mixture of round-robin and knock-out type of events.  Each State and Territory will have timely information on the list of tournaments available and each year, Tennis Seniors Australia collates this information into a tournament calendar.

National Ranking Tournaments

A number of these Australian tournaments are endorsed by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and are used in determining player rankings and are administered according to the ITF Seniors Regulations. These rules are reviewed and updated yearly by the ITF Seniors Committee members, who attend and compete in Seniors tournaments throughout the year.

How to enter ITF Tournaments in Australia?

Many players are still having trouble understanding the requirements of entering on-line for ITF tournaments in Australia. Check the tournament entry form to see what events will be conducted as ITF IPIN events before entering. Players entering in IPIN events MUST have an IPIN Number.

If you currently have a Seniors Circuit IPIN registration and are entering an Australian ITF tournament for the first time, you will need to renew your IPIN before entering as your password will no longer be valid for the new IPIN website. If you do not already have an IPIN, you will need to register for one.
